Happy new year 2023! I hope it’s off to a great start.
It’s certainly off to a good start for the US economy. While layoffs at Amazon & offer retractions at Meta were in the headlines, the non farm payroll data has been encouraging and US unemployment rate fell to 3.5% in December.
We’ve been busy the last few months. Especially our engineering team. Did you know that engineering is about half of the Recruiterflow team and it has doubled in the last 6 months!
Well, what do so many software engineers do? They ship features at a ferocious pace and it can get hard to keep up with all the changes. Now, this product update email itself is almost a thousand words long!
If you feel like you are missing out on getting the best out of Recruiterflow and don’t know all the new things that we’ve released, we’ve got you covered. We are hosting a webinar to talk about all the new upgrades in Recruiterflow released over the last 6 months. The webinar is on 7th February at 3:30 PM GMT / 10:30 AM Eastern Time. Even if you can’t make it, register to receive a recording in your email.
If you are short on time, here’s a TL;DR video of the major updates.
This has to be one of the most requested features ever! With the saved reports feature, you can save metrics that you check every week/ every month / every day without putting all the inputs like dates, group by and filter every time.
For example, let’s say you check “submittals, interviews and placements made by each team member last week” on Monday of every week. With this new update, you can just select “last week” as a time frame and group by users in the stage movement report, save it and it will automatically show you the data every monday. Check out this help article to see how you can setup saved reports.
Pro Tip: Each saved report is also a unique link. You can just bookmark those for super quick access.
We now have an integration with REED – one of the biggest job boards in the UK. With this integration, you can post job adverts from Recruiterflow to REED. The candidates applying on REED will come straight back into your Recruiterflow. Please reach out to our support team to enable the integration with your REED account. Read more about it here.
You can now create categories under which files on a candidate profile can belong. This feature will help you easily differentiate between resume files, formatted resumes and other documents that you may need to upload on the candidate profile.
When you upload files on a candidate profile, you can create categories of these files to easily manage different kinds of files on a candidate profile. You can create and manage the file types in the document management section of settings.
We enhanced the blocked companies feature with an upgrade where you can block emails being sent out to certain domains. This is especially useful where you don’t want to reach out to candidates who work with your clients!
There has been a flurry of incidents over the last few months where hackers have gained access to people’s passwords. These password dumps are then sold online for anyone to access. Lastpass, one of the most widely used password managers, was also compromised last month. In light of such massive breaches, it is important to make sure that you are secure. The best way to do this is to enable two-factor authentication for your Office365/G-suite accounts or use passwordless authentication tools. If you haven’t set that policy for your organization, you may be leaving yourself and your team vulnerable to phishing attacks, scams and in some cases outright blackmail.
That was a long list! Onto small changes that are not so small and made it to the list!
Well, that’s it for now! Don’t forget to register for the webinar!
