Picus Capital invests in early-stage technology ventures with a focus on Real Estate, Finance & Insurance, Human Resources, Renewable Energy, Mobility, and Health. Picus makes initial investments in pre-seed, seed and series A ventures thereby starting to work together with entrepreneurs in various stages of their companies.

We are looking for an Human Resources Manager (m/f/d) to support our growth by strengthening our HR Strategy and introducing new HR and Recruiting processes in our early-stage pre-seed companies.


Your Responsibilities

HR Strategy

  • Setting up and implementing our inhouse HR strategy 

  • Supporting all HR-related back-office processes as lean and fast as possible

  • Supporting in the development of HR strategy of our pre-seed companies

Recruitment inhouse and external support

  • Partnering with hiring managers to determine staffing needs

  • Identify future candidates through active search efforts and networking 

  • Winning new talents to enable fast placements

  • Overseeing hiring process in our portfolio and especially pre-seed companies

  • Introducing new HR processes and measures that enable our pre-seed companies to grow fast and effectively

Required Skills and Experiences

  • At least bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business management, psychology or a related field

  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, ideally with a focus on active sourcing (esp. via LinkedIn)

  • 2+ years in a fast-growing startup or other high performance environment like top-tier strategy consulting (tech company, or a company in the finance/ investment/consulting sector)

  • Outstanding organizational skills in addition to a results- and solution-driven mindset

  • A self-starter, able and comfortable with working fully independent with only little guidance but also willing to realize our founders visions with best knowledge 

  • Strong interest in Venture Capital, startup ecosystem and new technologies

  • Feeling comfortable in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment

  • Full working proficiency in German and English 

  • Team player with a "no task is too small" attitude
