We’re on the lookout for talented individuals to join our London Investment Banking teams covering Power, Utilities and Energy Transition, and Communications and Media as Investment Banking Summer Analysts and support a franchise with exceptional growth prospects. Position Overview

As an Investment Banking Analyst, you will work under the direction of a senior officer and with other experienced professionals in the Communications & Media team, helping to generate ideas, advise clients and execute transactions.

How you will contribute

• Research and analyze clients’ financial situations, industry and market data
• Develop operating and valuation models of private and public companies as well as merged entities
• Apply valuation tools to assess opportunities
• Prepare external client presentations, proposals and internal memos
• Aid senior team members with idea generation and in all phases of M&A transaction execution
• Work proactively across multiple product groups and geographies

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• 2:1 or above degree (or equivalent) qualification
• Previous work experience in corporate finance or investment banking
• Demonstrated experience in relevant financial modelling and valuation work
• Genuine interest in telecommunications and digital infrastructure (e.g., fibre, data centres, broadcast and telecom towers, satellites, submarine cables, etc.) is considered a plus
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver accurate results under time pressure
• Entrepreneurial spirit with strong judgment able to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of the organization, including external stakeholders
• Fluency in at least one additional European language is advantageous
• Graduating in 2024
