YourCode Group have been exclusively tasked with the recruitment of a Head of Market, Business Development to work for an expanding software solutions provider working within the manufacturing & utility sector in Germany. Our client is a medium sized organisation with around 200 employees in Europe, looking to significantly expand in the coming years.
 
Our client is looking for a consultative sales profession with deep knowledge of the manufacturing or utilities sector, having solid experience working within IT Solutions or Services, preferably with B2B2C customers.
 
This individual will work as part of a team less than 10, actively responsible for creating repeatable sales relationships and together with the sales team, develop and acquire new long-term business.

Main responsibilities:
  • Connecting with relevant decision makers to build long term relationships
  • Identifying sector paint points and working with the marketing team to ensure the offering is updated to the needs
  • Driving regular communication with the prospects and being seen within the industry
  • Supporting the Sales Support Manager with qualification process and identifying high quality leads for business development
  • Work with the marketing team to provide sales story materials
  • Developing relationships with existing customers to enhance their annual spend
  • Supporting the team with negotiations and deal-closing stages
  • Working in partnership with the CSM to onboard new customers and scale cooperation
Experience / Skills / Knowledge required:
  • Minimum of 6 years relevant professional sales experience
  • Industry experience within the manufacturing or utilities solution sector
  • Cultural awareness of the DACH business markets
  • Ability to effectively build business relationships with strategic leaders
  • Motivation & commitment to meeting business targets (with a track record of achieving too!)
  • Fluent in German and English
