APRN - Pain Management - 4 Days per Week!
We are looking for an APRN to join our team of experienced pain management professionals. The ideal candidate should have prior experience (at least 2 years) in broad spectrum of pain management services. New graduates not eligible.
If not experienced in pain management, candidates should have at least 3 years of prior experience in primary care, orthopedics, or related specialty.
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Evaluating and treating patients with chronic pain
- Developing and implementing pain management plans
- Administering medications and other treatments
- Educating patients about pain management
- Eagerness to learn about pain management principles, procedures, medications, challenges, risks, and professional rewards.
- Understanding of pain as a disease and not a character failing. Nonjudgmental approach. Whole person philosophy of care.
- Team oriented and collaborative.
Qualifications for this position include:
- A Master's degree in nursing (MSN) with a specialization in pain management
- A valid APRN license in the state of New Hampshire
- At least 2 years of experience in pain management
- Strong clinical skills and judgment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
