Associate Creative Director

Vashi is seeking an exceptional Associate Creative Director to lead on the conceptual development and creative direction of Vashi content. 

Playing a vital role in the delivery of commercial and editorial marketing campaigns and championing creative excellence in the content and visual teams, the Associate Creative Director will lead teams of copywriters, filmmakers and designers to create engaging and innovative content for use in all digital and print channels, focussing equally on individual campaigns and regularly published assets. 

You will have extensive experience leading on the development of creative at every level of production and be comfortable interrogating e-comm, marketing and brand briefs, articulating and presenting complex conceptual thinking with total confidence and clarity, collaborating in a matrix organization and being hands on with the creation and delivery of digital and print assets. 

Above all, you will bring an exceptional creative mind to an ambitious and rapidly growing team. Supporting Vashi’s vision of disrupting the fine jewellery industry, they will be counted on to have the breakthrough idea, to bring the unexplored avenue to life, able to rapidly absorb the brand DNA, find unique and inspiring articulations of that DNA and deliver it at an exceptional level. They will be trusted to bring new and challenging perspectives and approaches to the brand and industry. 

You will ideally have a deep understanding of the trends and history within fine jewellery and luxury industry, as well as the broader creative arts, and bring those to bear in new and exciting ways on every brief they touch. Day to day, they will act as a lynchpin of the creative process at Vashi, reviewing and critiquing work across multiple disciplines, mentoring and developing internal talent and inspiring collaboration across departments.  

As our Associate Creative Director here is what you would have done last week:

  • Developed, pitched and driven the production of creative campaigns and projects across all touchpoints and at every step of the customer journey 
  • Lead the in-house studio in responding to commercial, brand and editorial content briefs with world-class creative concepts clearly articulated and presented
  • Been a guardian of creative excellence across all work, with a clear voice of leadership in creative reviews and the ability to develop and present work across the organisation 
  • Supported the development of Vashi’s ‘always-on’ brand identity, leading our creative approach to product presentation on in core customer journeys 
  • Acted as an internal thought leader and help to push the boundaries of campaigns and content, establishing a highly creative working environment and leading by example
  • Worked with specialists and the existing creative leadership to provide day-to-day direction on work-in-progress productions across different media 
  • Maintained exceptional standards for all work produced for Vashi channels, with exhaustive attention to detail and a final-check mentality.

Who you are:

You have previously worked in a creative agency, inhouse studio or brand/content setting specialising in creative/art direction and have a portfolio of exceptional work showcasing unique and innovative conceptual thinking.

You’re an inspirational creative thinker with strong stakeholder engagement skills, the ability to build relationships and influence decision making.
