Accounts Payable Specialist

About the Opportunity:

This is an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist who is looking to grow with our client’s team. Our client is a residential and commercial property management company based in Great Neck, New York. The ideal candidate will have real estate property management accounting experience. Knowledge and implementation of property management software (Appfolio) is a plus!

 

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing invoice/expense reports
  • Process invoices for various properties
  • Process invoices for set monthly expenses
  • Review purchase orders, contracts, invoices, or payment discrepancies when necessary
  • Reconcile monthly vendor statements as necessary
  • A heavy volume of invoices related to purchase and work orders
  • Post and review invoices for accuracy and proper authorizations
  • Ensure that all payments are applied to the correct code description

 

 

Requirements:

  • 3 years of prior AP experience working in property management or real estate is required
  • Associate degree is required
  • Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Track, manage, and adhere to strict deadlines
  • Able to manage multiple tasks at a time, knowing how to prioritize tasks and get the job done
  • Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills

 

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $65,000- $75,000
