Position Overview

You’ll be leading the charge on launching and optimizing sales experiments that exponentially increase the number of highly motivated startups we bring on as new clients. In this role, you will be looked at to lead, manage, and own your book of business of the sales process across all of Union. You’ll identify new vertices to target, identify and build out ideal client  lists for outreach and conduct and optimize larger scale outreach as we learn more. You will build out the personas of clients we should be working with, and build the long term vision of what makes a perfect client. From the start, you will work with the Founders to bring on new clients and work to drive brand awareness and velocity.

In your first 3 months, you will…

  • Learn about Customer Development and our customer journey map
  • Identify and close 6 potential clients
  • Develop our core client base, build and own sales pipeline
  • Perform outreach to ideal partner lists, hold meetings and sell them on why Union is a perfect fit for their system, then onboard them to the platform
  • Identify, and build out persona profiles for ideal partner types in each vertical

In your first 6 months, you will…

  • Develop our core client base, build and own sales pipeline
  • Determine and define sales strategies and start first stage build out
  • Build and own the Union BD playbook
  • Continue executing on a go to market strategy that you devise

In your first year, you will….

  • Complete playbook and SOP’s for this role as you toggle with managing the sales and client onboarding pipeline longer term
  • Execution of marketing trends and tactics to drive traffic and interest to product across multiple platforms
  • Achieve 1M ARR in new business
