Overview: We are looking for our first Quality Assurance Expert to join our team! Are you an analytical detail orientated person who jumps at the opportunity to set up a new test automation and then look for trouble with it? Are you as eager and comfortable with translating user stories into test procedures as you are communicating with all levels of the organization including the CEO?
What you will be doing:
- Create Test Plans for each offering to ensure business solutions are delivered with quality & consistency
- Build test scripts and execute automated and manual test cases, generating Acceptance Test Reports, identifying bugs and areas for improvement
- Work closely with Product and Development teams to review the implementation and provide feedback from a testing perspective
- Develop infrastructure, tools, and automation for continuous integration/continuous deployment
- On-going creation, enhancing, debugging and running test cases, triaging and sharing test results
- Provide proactive advice and feedback to engineers across the organization for prevention and early correction of quality problem
- Document and share lessons learned, help create & maintain knowledge base
Skills You Have:
- 5+ years experience in Quality Assurance & Test
- Leadership or mentorship experience is an asset
- Solid experience creating test plans, test cases and test strategies
- Excellent verbal and written technical and communication skills - able to work with and communicate clearly with a diverse and inclusive team
- Reliable and able to get things done in a fast-paced environment, can adjust to changing priorities and timelines
- A willingness to learn and tenacity to finish what you have started - providing a can-do attitude about your work
- Comfortable with and experience with automated testing tools Comfortable with, or able to learn, testing both desktop and mobile platforms
- Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- Experience with mobile/web applications and microservices a plus
