Role: Boat Ranger - Sly Park

Pay rate: $17.00/ hr

Location: Sly Park, CA

Talmo & Associates is now hiring for a boat ranger. Duties include patrolling the lake by foot and boat, observing, recognizing and reporting incidents, educating park/lake visitors on park rules, and responding to emergencies. Other duties may be assigned!

REQUIREMENTS:

*Must have a minimum of 2 years of Customer Service experience

*Must have a valid CA Boating Card

*Must possess a valid California Driver's license with a satisfactory driving record

*Good reading and writing skills

*Take direction and have a positive attitude

*Good at managing time effectively

*Posses CPR/ First Aid card is desirable

MUST pass a background check , drug screen and have a clean driving record!

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must possess physical characteristics to perform the essential functions of the job

Duties may require maintaining a physical condition necessary to sitting, standing, climbing, in and out of vehicles, or walking for prolonged periods of time, carrying less than 40 pounds

WORK HOURS: Work will be seasonal on a full-time basis; days and hours will vary with weekends and holidays required

WORK CONDITIONS: 

Field environment; may be exposed to inclement weather conditions
