Job Purpose

The Payroll Operations Specialist will play a key role in the efficient operation of our multinational payroll functions. This individual will ensure that payroll processes are executed flawlessly and in compliance with international standards. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the successful candidate will contribute to the overall satisfaction and trust of our global workforce.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Payroll Management

  • Coordinate with internal departments to collect and verify timesheets and attendance data
  • Calculate wages, deductions, and benefits, adhering to the tax and employment laws of each country we operate
  • Address and rectify any payroll-related issues promptly, maintaining high levels of confidentiality.

Regulatory Compliance and Reporting

  • Keep abreast of changes in payroll-related laws and regulations across different jurisdictions
  • Prepare and submit all necessary payroll reports and documents to ensure full compliance.

Data Integrity and Confidentiality

  • Maintain up-to-date payroll records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of employee information
  • Regularly review and enhance payroll systems and databases.

Employee Support and Communication

  • Serve as a point of contact for payroll inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses to employee questions
  • Participate in payroll system updates and improvements, aiming for increased efficiency and user-friendliness.

Project Support

  • Assist with various HR projects, including but not limited to employee onboarding and offboarding, contributing to a smooth HR operation.

Qualifications 

  • A degree in Business Administration, Finance, or relevant field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in payroll administration, with a preference for candidates who have handled international payroll.
  • Proficiency with payroll software systems and a high level of competence in MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for details.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a penchant for confidentiality and discretion.
  • Knowledge of international tax and employment legislation is highly desirable.
