Essential Skills:
- Advanced-stage career tester with strong team leading capabilities
- 10+ years industry, 5+ years in Test Management, preferably in Ecommerce/Retail
- ISEB/ISTQB Advanced – Advanced Tester or Test Manager
- Confidence in managing teams of testers across 3 global locations
- Recent and relevant, hands-on, desktop browser, mobile browser and API (REST/SOAP) automation experience – 5+ years - preferably Ruby, Javascript, Typescript, Python, Java
- Recent and relevant, hands-on, performance testing - JMeter, NeoLoad, Gatling or equivalent
- Appium, Perfecto, Sauce Labs, Browserstack – Mobile and X Browser automation
- OWASP ZAP and Kali Linux for Security Testing
- Experience with JIRA or similar requirements and test management tools for manual testing, planning, and reporting
- Familiar with Oracle Commerce and Retail Products and Deliveries
- Experienced BDD practitioner, an agile expert
- Excellent requirements analysis and static testing skills
- Strong character and communication skills – work with Leadership Team, Devs, Architects, BAs, and PMs
- SME for testing – a single point of contact for group level test policy, test strategy and project based test plans, and general best contextual practice
- Ability to analyse and apply a pragmatic and context driven approach to any testing
- Able to identify risks and suggest or implement appropriate mitigation
- Strong Exploratory Testing & Risk Based Testing
- Strong Reporting and Presentation Skills – to lead team, peers and project/test management, clients
- Defect Management
- Proponent of Agile Continuous Integration principles
- Strong, Recent and relevant, hands-on with GIT, Gerrit, Jenkins, or industry equivalent CI/CD pipelines
- Maintains a personal development plan
- Active participant in industry webinars, meet-ups, LinkedIn groups, etc.
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 10+ years of related experience
- Previous consulting experience preferred
