Our client is a 250 person / 40-50 million USD revenue company that has been acquired by a 16 Billion Euros revenue European company. They are a pioneer in using analytics based on Hadoop / Spark for CEM and predictive analytics in Telco network environment.
The company is looking to further develop their presence in the Middle East market (and potentially the wider MEA) and is looking for a Field CTO to cover the region. The acquiring company has became a major channel to market for the client's solutions globally but where is comes to selling advanced capabilities and working with Telecommunications Service Providers on new use cases etc they require someone to assist with high level technical sales / presales to support the regional account teams.
Whilst my client's solutions are relevant across multiple verticals the Telecoms vertical is still the focus and hence someone with a depth of experience in the Telecom Analytics area and their application will be a good fit. The successful person will be an expert in that field and be responsible for thought leadership and developing compelling use cases for my clients technology. The person could come from a Service Provider (someone used to developing network analytics programmes internally), a consulting business, or another analytics vendor.
They have some really strong use cases across CEM (alarms etc), IOT and predictive analysis for set-top-box failures etc (plus many more). Ideally the candidate will have knowledge of applying Big data solutions across Telco Networks with a broad knowledge across RAN, CORE, OSS, BSS etc.
They are open to candidates coming from either Vendor or Service provider who has architected analytics solutions and secured budgets for them/proved ROI.
This role will act as an evangelist for my client's technology in the region and will work with CXO levels within potential clients to create compelling use cases underpinned by my client's flexible platform.
