Our client is a UK headquartered start-up software vendor that has just launched a cloud native omni channel contact centre solution. The client has already sold the solution to a major Telecoms Service provider in Germany (which is looking to scale to 1000's of seats) and they are also in close to a second major reference customer in Germany.
The client is around 60 people in size, mostly technologists, and they are looking to hire an entreprenurial sales professional to take the solution to market. At the moment their CEO is performing the commerical function himself and whilst they have a pipeline they are looking for a high energy individual with knowledge of the Cloud Contact Centre market (ideally coming from either a presales or delivery function before getting into BD / Sales). This role will grow with the company - as revenue grows the person will add to their team etc.
One of the Client's main advantages is that architecture of it's solution started being built just 2 years ago and they own the full software stack. This means they can build a highly customised experience to give it's clients exactly what they want no matter how specific their requirements may be - at much faster speeds given they have no legacy headaches and compromises.
They are looking for someone that understands the SAAS Cloud Contact Centre eco-system and can establish channels to market as well as direct touch. Of course this being a small business there is not yet a demand generation team in place; this is really a start-up opportunity and the successful candidate will work with the management team on how to ramp up the revenues (they have strong institutional investors).
In terms of location the person could be based anywhere in the UK - working from home / meeting potential clients and occasionally being in the office (after getting up to speed).
