MNO Key Account Manager / Business Development Manager

My client is selling digital identity solutions that give companies access to Mobile Service provider (MNO) information through an API which is then used to build up fraud scores for transactions. For example companies would be able to understand location information about a subscribers handset when a transaction is happening (ie is the person roaming for example) - the client refers to this as Subscriber Intelligence.
The role is with a fast growing business unit of a 150 million USD revenue global solutions provider.
Primary Focus
- Relationship Manager for all UK MNOs and MVNOs focusing on business development and account
management. Developing new Operator relationships internationally and driving launch of SI services in
new territories.
- Key account manager for UK’s four largest Mobile Operators – engaging with various
stakeholders within each business to ensure my client is perceived as a trusted partner
Developing new business opportunities with the Operators to grow SI revenues and exploring
new ways to collaborate
- Reporting to MNO business owners on financial performance and business development strategy
Owning all MNO approval processes and ensuring that my client meets all contractual obligations
Providing project teams with required support to launch bespoke projects e.g. banking client pilot
- Managing key enterprise partners that are engaged with key strategic initiatives
- Working closely with GSMA to ensure alignment with Mobile Connect standards and to keep
abreast of industry developments
- Overseeing international territory roll out – managing project status and timelines.
- Managing International pre-sales technical resource to ensure all documentation is provided to
engaged MNOs, priorities are being managed and progress is being made
- Manage International MNO relationships in territories where progress is underway and interest
has been secured from sales team – notably in interim, South Africa; Kenya; France
- Liaise with UK sales team to ensure partnership opportunities are lined up to support new territory
roll out
- Providing regular business updates
The maximum package is £80K base + 50% bonus
