Our client, one of the world's largest vendors of software related to OSS / BSS / SON / NFV / SDN has acquired a US headquartered consulting company that is focused on agile digital transformation (Cloud / Microservices etc) and they are looking for their first two hires of this business unit in EMEA.
There are two roles: Head of Client Services and Head of Engineering. The reality is due to the nature of the position the head of Client Services is really focused on consulting business development. They are looking for someone who is used to engaging at C-level and C-level -1 to selling consulting services to Telecommunications Service Providers (MNO, 4G, 5G, MSO, Cable, Mobile, Fibre, Fixed etc).
The role will initially be focused on engaging with our clients end customers (they have some large 100+ million USD accounts in EMEA) to seek out opportunities to sell these solutions.
Candidates should come from a consulting background so someone from the likes of Accenture, Capgemini, TCS, Cognizants, IBM, Bearing Point, CSG, Wipro, Deliotte, Bain & Co would be ideal. Someone coming from another major vendor with experience of pure consulting sales would also be good; as would someone coming from much smaller services companies (like Cartesian for example)
