My client is the high growth UK division of a large IOT connectivity provider internationally.
The business is rolling out a low powered communications network that will completely transform (ie lower) the annual subscription costs of having IOT sensors attached to a network.
The applications for this network are huge - ranging from monitoring and tracking farm animals, tracking cars, monitoring railway cuttings for landslides, car tracking, monitoring of elderly relatives - just about anything you can think of. The low cost nature of the network means that many business models that were not possible before have become viable.
The client is looking for a business development person that is genuinely excited about the applications for the network and can help build and eco-system of partners / alliances / VARs and engage with larger end customers directly.
The ideal person would have some knowlegde of the IOT market and be keen to get involved in the technology and company at an early stage. Someone working in the IOT area for Vodafone, O2, Three, EE, an MVNO or other solutions provider / reseller / IOT solutions company would be ideal.
My client has rolled out low power networks in Latin America Successfully and have their UK HQ in Buckinghamshire.
This role can be based remotely / from home with travelling.
