 The Role

 We are seeking an entrepreneurial, growth-minded, highly-skilled and dynamic Vice President of Business Development to join our reputable public relations agency. As the VP of Business Development, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth and expanding our client base. Your primary objective will be to identify new business opportunities, develop and nurture client relationships, and create innovative strategies to meet revenue targets.


 Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead assigned business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new client opportunities 
  • Develop comprehensive sales strategies to meet revenue and growth objectives
  • Act as a trusted advisor with clients, being able to fully understanding their unique needs
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, potential areas of expansion
  • Has a deep understanding of the Public Relations Industry and maintains a strong network of contacts within

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Business administration or related field 
  • 8+ Years of Business Development Experience (preferably within public relations)
  • Extensive network of brand and marketing leaders; ability to tap into that network from day 1
  • Strong knowledge of emerging trends and key players within the public relations industry
  • Exceptional ability to present and persuade
  • Strategic mindset and the ability to think creatively 
  • Proven success in previous business development roles with a minimum of $1MM in revenue closed annually
  • Proactive and detail-oriented, with a strong entrepreneurial spirit
