Interdependence is seeking a skilled and creative freelance YouTube Channel Editor to work closely with our high-profile entrepreneur client on their personal YouTube channel. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your editing talent and contribute to the growth and success of a brand-new channel. We are looking for a reliable individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to create engaging, high-quality video content that aligns with the client's vision and brand identity.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the celebrity entrepreneur, creative director/strategist, and channel manager to edit and produce video content in line with the channel's content strategy and schedule.
2. Receive raw footage and create engaging, polished videos, incorporating graphics, animations, sound effects, and music as needed.
3. Ensure all edits adhere to the established brand identity and style guidelines.
4. Optimize video content for YouTube, including resolutions, aspect ratios, and file formats.
5. Collaborate on thumbnail design and creation to drive views and click-through rates.
6. Provide input on content ideas, scripts, and storyboard development.
7. Work efficiently and meet deadlines, while maintaining high-quality output.
8. Continuously refine and improve editing techniques and processes in line with industry best practices and trends.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a video editor.
2. Strong portfolio showcasing editing skills and creativity in various video formats and styles.
3. Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
4. Experience with motion graphics and animation software, such as Adobe After Effects, is a plus.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work remotely and effectively with diverse teams.
6. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high level of quality in all work.
7. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Passion for and knowledge of the entrepreneurial and business space.
