Core Responsibilities:

Interdependence is looking for a SVP, Reputation and Crisis Management. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional crisis preparedness and reputation management practitioner, who will have deep experience in managing clients, developing and executing crisis plans, and sourcing new business. As well as: Providing proactive and reactive reputation management and crisis counsel to clients across a variety of sectors, including healthcare, financial services and technology among others; Acting as a trusted advisor to C-Suite and other senior level clients; Leading large client engagements and developing / implementing crisis communications plans and 
supporting materials; Staying abreast of industry trends to identify potential emerging issues by sector; Raising the visibility and enhancing the footprint of Interdependence through activities such as panels, speaking engagements, and press mentions, published articles; Driving innovation via developing new products and services, as well as integrating digital products into client engagements; Proactively sourcing organic new business with existing clients, and working with the Interdependence team to garner new clients; Hiring and developing best-in-class talent; Ensuring accounts are profitable and running smoothly.

The ideal candidate must have:

• Between 12-15 years of previous public relations management experience, specifically focused on 
reputation and issues management;
• Proven experience as a trusted advisor, counseling senior clients across a variety of industry sectors 
in crisis situations, with financial, healthcare, and tech industries being A+;
• Extensive experience working with reporters, journalists and external stakeholders;
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to manage complex relationships diplomatically and 
consultatively;
• Deep understanding and the ability to leverage data, analytics and research as they pertain to 
reputation and crisis management;
• Ability to hire, manage, and mentor best-in-class teams;
• Creative and strategic thinking, with the ability to take a long-term perspective;
• Excellent written, verbal and communications skills, both internally and externally;
• An entrepreneurial approach to business acquisition and proven success at driving new business.
