We are looking for an experienced VP R&D to join a quickly growing digital media company, having all its technological needs developed in-house, end to end, in a rapid big-data environment. Responsibilities:

·        Establish a compelling strategic direction for R&D, define and optimize the work process and efficiency

·        Ensure complete testing and quality control of the product on tight schedules in a fast-paced environment

·        Direct the professional growth of staff by providing coaching, mentoring, training and supervision

·        Provide an environment which primes collaboration, teamwork, productivity and passion

Requirements: 

·        Previous experience as VP R&D of a 10+ sized team

·        Experience in scaled high availability web systems (AdTech industry is an advantage)

·        Proven design skills, planning and development of new user-facing products and features

·        Experience with Linux/ PHP framework (Laravel is an advantage)

·        High proficiency in SQL in a big data environment

·        Knowledge of database technologies MySQL and MongoDB

·        Experience in server management (Google Cloud is an advantage)

·        Significant development experience in Angular 4+ and JavaScript

·        Familiarity with Git/Monday

·        Fluent in English (written and verbal)
