The Director International Tax assists corporate Tax Leadership to meet strategic objectives through active management of effective tax rate, income tax compliance, financial reporting, and timely regulatory filings. This position serves as subject matter expert and resource, assists in development and execution of strategic tax initiatives, transfer pricing initiatives, US tax audits and other special projects as required. This position will have significant involvement and contact with foreign tax advisors in to analyze and craft analysis of issue and initial response addressing foreign tax audits as well as resolution of foreign tax disputes.
Lead international tax accounting processes and entries including FIN 48 analysis and related documentation
Coordinate data collection and outsourced tax compliance of US international operations
Work with international businesses finance teams and US financial management in tax related matters in a customer friendly environment
Develop and lead international tax continuous process improvement projects
Lead analysis and coordination of response in foreign tax audits
Review tax returns and prepare quarterly GAAP and cash analysis of taxes
Manage transfer pricing analysis and documentation process
Mentor other tax and finance peers on international tax issues and accounting requirements
Lead in development of responses for international items in US tax audits
Research and draft technical memorandum on various international tax issues and positions
Lead in planning and implementing international related changes in the tax and financial accounting systems
Assist tax leadership in the development, implementation, and training relative to corporate tax policy and procedures
Required: Bachelors in Accounting or similar field, at least 10 years of relevant international tax experience within a corporate tax department or with an accounting firm.
Preferred: MBA or Masters Taxation (MST) and CPA strongly preferred, Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus
