We’re so glad you’ve found us! EdPlace is a growing online education business offering online educational resources in English, Maths, Science and 11+ from Year 1 to GCSE. We’ve recently relaunched as the smartest home learning and revision app in the UK for GCSE, SATs and the 11+! We’re using technology to enhance the way a child revises, automatically progressing them at the right level with targeted resources, specifically designed to support pinch points around GCSEs, SATs and 11+ exams. Our resources are designed to help a child learn skills, practise what they’ve learnt and test for exam readiness. We support parents by providing visibility on their child’s progress and recommendations to correct knowledge and skill gaps. Parents lack the time and confidence to support their children, often turning to private tuition and off-the-shelf revision books. These methods lack personalisation and measurability.

The role

EdPlace are looking for a part-time marketing assistant with previous experience in a junior marketing role or a business minded individual looking to make a switch from the education sector. Our ideal candidate will report into the marketing manager and will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support the our marketing strategy and specific campaigns. You will play an integral role in our day to day marketing communications and reporting, and should have a keen interest in digital and performance marketing strategy, included but not limited to Social Media, PPC and display. 

Our ideal team member:

  • Has previous experience within a marketing role (industry placement, work experience, full-time assistant role etc.)
  • Is data driven and proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Has previous experience or a keen interest in performance marketing channels such as PPC and Social advertising
  • Is keen to take ownership of marketing projects and channels with the support of the Marketing Manager
  • Has strong copywriting skills
  • Thrives within a small team and is happy to work across teams when required - Is a self starter who can be flexible and agile


  • 15-25 hours a week (working schedule tbd)
  • £13-£15 an hour (depending on experience)
  • Fixed-term contract with potential to extend
  • Remote and flexible working
