We are looking for a Construction Manager who will coordinate and supervise a wide variety of projects, including the building of all types of public, residential, commercial, and industrial structures. The Construction Manager will oversee construction projects from start to finish, and will consult with developers, builders, and specialized contractors on construction related issues.
The Construction Manager will oversee specialized contractors and other personnel. This person will schedule and coordinate all construction processes so that projects meet design specifications. The Construction Manager will ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Hire, oversee and coordinate with the other construction managers on a variety of projects.
Work closely with building specialists, such as architects, engineers, and other construction specialist.
Maintain, evaluate and report on benchmarking and key performance indicators (KPI) and implement improvement programs
Manage resource levels and ensure that staff are properly trained and capable of the role designated to them
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and work timetables
Interpret and explain contracts and technical information to other professionals
Report work progress and budget matters to internal staff, senior leadership and clients
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists
Select, schedule, and coordinate subcontractor activities
Respond to work delays, emergencies, and other problems
Handle client complaints and implement suitable actions
Ensure that contractual payment conditions are followed and assist in the collection of due payments
Ensure final settlement is reached with the client is made as soon as possible.
Comply with legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations. Depending on the projectmay interaction with lawyers and local government officials is required.
Use specialized cost-estimating and planning software to allocate time and money in order to complete their projects.
Co-ordinate with HR for recruitment and manpower allocations
Supervision of staff and ensure training & development via effective programs.
An experienced professional with proven managerial experience, technical expertise preferably in the Precast Industry
Strong construction and management supervision experience.
A minimum of 8 years experience in construction in the GCC
High level of critical thinking and numerical skills.
Strong English communication skills.
Ability to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports etc
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent
Civil Engineering degree
