We are developing a next-generation sales portal to enable the rapid purchase of commercial aircraft spares for our customer, a leading spares seller owned by an aviation giant. You will lead the testing practice for an e-commerce platform based on SAP Commerce (formerly Hybris) and a front-end based on Umbraco and Vue.js to make sure we meet our customer’s expectations. The customer’s plan is to provide the Amazon of the airline industry; “A one-stop commerce ecosystem that guides and delights our customers while growing our partners’ business”.
The Next Generation Portal will host 5 million aircraft spares that will be bought by maintenance engineers, manufacturers and suppliers worldwide. The portal, a progressive web application is designed for fast and easy ordering of parts with user experiences tailored specifically around client buying workflows.
The project is the first phase of a larger program that will incorporate machine learning and real-time telemetry data to better predict and serve customer spares requirements. A Marketplace function has already been started to ensure the portal becomes a single place on the web for all aircraft spares!

You’ll have experience of automated test frameworks, whether that is designing tests or writing them, the ability to engage with developers in order to clearly communicate issues, solve problems and ensure testing standards are met. Having a team approach is important to us, and we want new members to share this ethos. We use an Agile process and aren’t afraid to adapt and change to fit what works best for us as a team. We encourage innovation in our approach to problem solving, whether that is the use of technology to create a bespoke test framework or introducing a new pragmatic way of working that improves efficiency.
Experience with SAP Hybris Commerce (CX) will be an advantage.
