HR and Recruitment Coordinator

Digital 22 is an inbound marketing, creative design, web development and Elite Hubspot marketing agency. Our team is based in the UK however Digital 22 has recently expanded to Nova Scotia and we are looking for a content writer to support our content team in Canada.  It's an exciting opportunity to join at the start of our journey in Canada and play a major role in our growth plans.

What's the role?

A generalist HR and recruitment position in which you will focus on recruitment, HR-related matters and the employee experience.

As a growing team, recruitment will be the main focus of the role in both Canada and the UK. You will manage the recruitment process from end to end, from initial job posting, reviewing applications, sourcing candidates, interviews and managing the offer and contract process. You will take sole responsibility for hiring in Canada and also have the opportunity to work on growing our team in the UK. 

Working closely with internal teams you’ll be devising and implementing innovative recruitment strategies to attract great fit candidates whilst ensuring we are implementing best practices throughout our recruitment process.

Nurturing candidates and finding the best candidates to join our team is the ultimate goal. 

You will be supporting our small team in Halifax (Nova Scotia) with a range of HR matters including general documentation compliance, advising on best practice and supporting line managers. 

Full support from the UK team will be provided.

Who are you?

You will have a minimum of 3 years experience in a recruitment role

Experience managing the full recruitment process 

Strong communication skills

Good level of Canadian employment law matters, with the ability and experience of advising on up-to-date legislation.
