Who are we?

We’re an inbound marketing, creative design, web development and an Elite HubSpot marketing agency. In fact, out of over 3,000 HubSpot partner agencies in the world, we’re one of the best in the world.

We work in a purpose-built office in the recently-converted, Grade II listed Holmes Mill, Clitheroe. We’re a team of 50, filled with friendly people who love inbound marketing. What’s the job?

As the Content Editor, you’ll overlook the final quality control stage of Digital 22s content creation, ensuring it means our clients’ inbound needs and amending it to suit multiple tones of voice, personas and client preferences. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining quality control across all the content we produce across the business. This includes blogs, premium content, web copy, emails and more.
  • Work as part of our tight knit content team to ensure all content we produce is of a high standard.
  • Put content under a critical lens to ensure everything is readable, relevant, engaging and grammatically correct.
  • Offer feedback on written content and raise the standard before sending it to our clients.
  • Create ideas and offer suggestions to ensure each piece is engaging, clear and meets the goal of campaigns.
  • Manage amends by liaising with our clients, HubSpot Consultants and our content team.
  • Work closely with our Marketing Strategists, HubSpot Consultants and Projects team to effectively manage the progression of assigned projects — from initial draft to design and delivery.

The person we’re looking for...

  • You have 2+ years experience in an Editor or Copywriter role. 
  • A copywriting, content, English and/or journalism background is essential.
  • Experience providing feedback on different content from writers.
  • You’re familiar with both British and American English grammar rules.
  • You can communicate constructive criticism to writers productively, while encouraging team-wide improvement.
  • Experience working in a marketing team or agency is ideal.
  • Can proactively identify process improvements.

What's on offer

Salary: £21,000-£25,000

Early Friday Finishes: Every week you finish at 3pm on a Friday. This gives you time to do what you enjoy the most and start your weekend early! 

Hybrid Working: We believe being in the office is best for building relationships, learning and collaboration, but you have the flexibility to work from home when it works for you and your workload.

Flexible Working Hours: Our potential office working hours are 8am-6pm and core hours are 10am-4pm to give you the flexibility of when to start your day. Full time working hours are 35.5 per week.

Creative working environment: We have a modern, purpose built, office which is fully stocked and has facilities for fun as well as work.

An Extra Days Paid Holiday per Year: Earn up to 27 holiday days per year. For every year you remain part of our team, you’ll earn an extra day’s annual leave. This starts at 22 days, increasing each year for 5 years.

Social Team Activities: A mixture of in the office and out of the office activities, we make sure we have regular things planned to help build strong relationships. From weekends away, celebrating Eid to Weekly five-a-side and dungeons and dragons.

Structured Review Process: For your progression and development it is important to us you have dedicated touchpoints with your manager. From fortnightly 1-1s, quarterly meetings and annual reviews.
