Qualifications & Experience (FD AGENT)

  • Proficient in OPERA Property Management System for Front Desk & Night Audit (Tasks such as check in and departure guests, create individual & room block reservations, check rate and availability, setup routing for direct bills, post, edit, correct, split & research transactions, profile management, generate reports, end of the day essentials, perform room moves, manage queue reservations, update profiles and comments, attach deposit & cancellation rules to reservations).
  • Provides courteous and efficient telephone services including accurate message taking.
  • Be knowledgeable about the hotel and the surrounding area.
  • Minimum of 1-year of experience as a Front Desk Agent in Luxury Lifestyle Boutique Hotels.
  • Answer guest inquiries regarding rates, special packages, and general information accurately and in a timely manner. 
  • Accurate completion of all special billing requests.
  • Responsible for check in and out of guests.
  • Create reservations via telephone and through email or update incoming reservations from our CRS.
  • The selected candidate will follow up in a timely manner all guests requests and personalized it when necessary.
  • Manage guests complains and ensure complete satisfaction.
  • Well-developed writing skills. The agent will be asked to answer emails, create letters, and record any opportunity from our guests.
  • Create memorable experiences through curation and individual guest attention
  • Presents statements of charges to departing guests and receives payment.
  • Ensures the safety and well-being of our guests and co-workers by maintaining a knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures.
  • Ensures inter-departmental communication and cooperation in the interest of better guest satisfaction.
  • Works shifts as business levels dictate, including overnight.
  • Coordinated arrival and departure logistics.
  • Ensure that all guests request prior arrival have been accomplished.
  • Completed administrative and operational functions of the property.

 

Additional Requirements (FD AGENT)

  • Additional languages (Spanish, French & German preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word and Excel
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Proficient in OPERA (Property Management System).
