Compliance Manager

We’re looking for a Compliance Manager to build on our product expertise on payment services. You will work closely with Product, Risk and Operations teams to ensure we are complying with payment rules and requirements. 
 o Managing Prohibited and Restricted Items related activities such as: Network/partner violations, Enablement requests, P&R audits engagements and remediation…
 o Lead regular Compliance related meetings
 o Understanding payment network policies, rules and regulations. 
 o Understanding compliance requirements which arise from third-parties, including advising on any changes to our policies, procedures and controls through validation and implementation
 o Working closely with cross functional teams to address any differences in payment partner policies and procedures and regional requirements
 o Liaising with key internal (e.g. Legal, Risk, Product etc) and external (e.g. schemes, vendors, partners etc) stakeholders to define or enable product categories, coordinate internal Clarification and Interpretation Council meetings, and address other issues or initiatives as needed
 o Monitoring and communicating Network and Partner violations (prohibited and restricted items, CB & fraud, data integrity, sanctions)
 o Standardizing files and processes
 o 3+ years’ experience in e-commerce merchant / marketplace, 
 o 3+ years’ experience in legal practice
 o Understanding of different types of Merchant and Consumer Risk.
 o Comfortable drafting internal compliance policies and communicating same to cross functional teams
 o Strong communication and relationship building skills
 o Project management skills; outstanding organizational skills.
 o Capacity to work under pressure and tight deadlines
 o Outstanding written, verbal and presentation skills
 o Legal background
 o Payments risk management background
 o Previous work with data management software like Aravo a plus
