 Position Summary
 eBay is seeking a talented Portfolio Manager with a strong planning, program, and operational background who can provide support for Planning and Portfolio Management for Global Customer Experience (GCX).
 
 The Portfolio Manager for the will need to have strong partnership with eBay strategic initiatives to ensure GCX has visibility and alignment to the strategic priorities. He/she will help to drive innovation and ensure greater focus on our most critical business priorities and overall portfolio. This includes sharing customer insights, annual planning, quarterly planning, resource management, project risk assessment, and partnership with regions and initiatives to create great customer experiences.
 
 The successful candidate will have a strong leadership presence, relevant program and planning experience and be able to influence and work across both GCX and Marketplace organizations to effectively collate plans, surface priorities and bring transparency to the GCX Portfolio and operational plans.
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 Collaborate and build partnership with global and cross-functional leaders to ensure successful alignment within and beyond GCX
 Develop portfolio management capability and actively lead a pipeline management process to facilitate the effective flow of new asks to the business
 Engage with cross-functional leaders to objectively assess the organization’s ability to absorb and/or deliver on change
 Align resources with business priorities, effectively solution, and facilitate trade-offs when constraints arise
 Oversee programs/projects within the portfolio and manage portfolio health
 Leverage customer insights to improve customer experience
 Review business plan, facilitate estimation process, and assess customer impact during quarterly and annual planning process
 Engage with business partner to explore solution options if customer experience concerns arise
 Proactively manage stakeholder expectations and change management
 Synthesize information from multiple sources and use it for effective decision-making in a matrix management organization.
 Develop effective plans to meet both short and longer term goals
 Continuously improve service and results for the business and operate with a cross functional and global lens
 
 Position Qualifications 
 Demonstrated track record of performance and leading complex change for the business
 8+ years professional related work experience and hands on project and operational experience desired
 3+ years leadership experience in a large, cross functional organization
 Demonstrated competency in developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems
 Ability to provide thought leadership and lead in a large, complex and diverse global organization
 Ability to make decision in ambiguous or difficult situations, including when under pressure
 Skilled in focusing on desired results, determining what is important and urgent, and manage effectively to meet deadlines and achieve desired results
 Excellent organizational change management skills with a strong attention to detail
 Experience with senior leadership and ability to deliver executive level summary updates, reports and presentations
 Strong customer service orientation; strong interpersonal and communication skills
 
 Location & Travel: 
 Position is based in Salt Lake City or Remote in the US
 Travel requirements will vary with assignments
 
 Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, MBA a plus
