We are hiring a Senior Product Marketing Manager, who will be in charge of crafting and implementing strategic incentive programs to promote adoption, usage and retention of our self-service advertising solutions for eBay sellers around the world. This results-oriented role requires strategic and analytical thinking, operational perfection and phenomenal communication skills.
You will report into the Global Head of Marketing Activation and work cross functionally & collaboratively with the rest of the Advertising team, various product teams, and the Seller Marketing team. You will demonstrate excellent analytical and communication skills and a customer centric attitude.
Responsibilities in detail:
Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive strategic marketing campaigns, with a strong understanding of incentive strategy and execution
Bring innovative thinking and best practices to all marketing activities
Remain the subject matter expert on new to market ads products and early stage GTM planning
Analyze promotional campaign performances and report on results of the go-to-market plan to determine impact
Develop strong relationships with internal and external partners to evangelize Advertising products, both in central functions and in various regions
Create and implement a global, strategic incentive plan for all self service eBay Ads offerings with a focus on:
building an end-to-end incentive playbook
data-driven, full funnel customer targeting
messaging specific to audience, channel and/or based on marketing activity that resonates with key audiences
multi-channel execution and optimization, for example across CRM email, on-site banners, telesales, notifications
continuous experimentation and optimization, run A/B and multivariate tests
measurement and recommendations for improvement
10+ years of related experience in product marketing, with a focus on e-commerce and/or retail strategy and planning
Deep understanding of integrated marketing incentive strategies and tactics and how they come together to provide measurable results
Team-oriented approach with ability to take initiative, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously to meet stakeholder expectations and deadlines across multiple projects
Ability to interact and communicate across a variety of stakeholder groups (technical subject matter experts to business owners), with ability to present complex information in easily understandable format and tailored to the audience
Strong persuasive skills and ability to gain consensus through influence
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills; flexibility and adaptability
Strong project management skills
Solid knowledge of how to leverage events, sponsorships, social, digital, comms, and PR within omni-channel campaign development
