 We are looking for a brilliant technical product manager to join our team in the Austin, TX office ( or US Remote) with our Customer Support Technology Platform Engineering team. You will have to be an expert in designing and developing service-oriented applications. You should be a passionate advocate for end users. You can conceptualize integration between different systems, and can write clear and concise descriptions of APIs and Services to be built. You are curious to know about people, processes and systems involved and can come up with interesting and pragmatic solutions.
 
 This position would be the best fit for someone who has been a developer and/or a quality engineer in the past. You will succeed in this role if you are ambitious, produce high quality work and are a strong communicator in addition to being comfortable working in a matrix-ed environment, collaborating across globally distributed teams. 
 You Would:
 
 Gather requirements, document it, discuss and debate about it and push towards solutions
 
 Participate in technical design and implementation to support company’s business and technical initiatives
 
 Apply standards analytical process to discover and document requirements, processes and technical solutions
 
 Monitor the APIs and Services in production and be able to analyze performance as well as issues.
 
 Join the Scrum team and attend daily project stand-up meetings
 
 Lead and/or work with engineers to deliver the projects
 
 Evaluate solutions and recommend- in house, open source and commercial SOA solutions
 
 Preferred Skills:
 
 BS or MS in any engineering discipline or equivalent.
 
 5+ years of Business Systems Analyst / Technical Product Management experience and some experience with programming ( any language) and basic knowledge of SQL
 
 Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly, complex design and technical issues, as well as business and product requirements
 
 Ability to develop product requirement documents, functional documents, and write use cases
 
 Strong presentation and documentation skills, proficient in PowerPoint, Visio, Word and Excel
 
 Flexibility and adaptability to fit the needs of the project, making progress despite ambiguity
 
 Familiar with Agile/Scrum
 
 Subject matter expertise in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable: API (Public or Private), Contact Management (cases, routing, blending), Web Application especially servicing large customer base, System Integration and Packaged Software Implementation.
 
 Ability to work within existing processes, but able to understand and define where new, different or abridged processes should be used
 
 Ability to work across group boundaries and forge cross-functional relationships
