The Customer & Teammate Planning team is on a mission to help our business, teams, and customers yo be better informed, more efficient and drive amazing customer service. To do this we must not stop improving as a team, as a function and individually. This role sits at the heart of building and executing on this strategy. The work you do will positively impact the lives of millions of buyers and sellers and thousands of teammates around the globe.
Responsibilities
Accountable for identifying options for continual improvements across the end to end planning cycle
Accountable for working to bring our partner planning processes in a stronger position and driving up collaboration across the teams to create a one team approach
Work with the wider planning team to drive and implement opportunities we see
Demonstrate tangible business and people benefit from the changes and improvements we make
Lead on projects and programmes into and out of the team aimed at building a stronger and more connected planning function at eBay
Have one eye on the people and cultural impacts and opportunities
Support and drive the build of Planning Academy which will set the foundation and platform for our people to develop, grow and become the best planning team in the world
Be future facing on emerging tech and thinking in the planning professional world
Requirements
5+ years of experience across the Planning cycle
5+ years of experience with Aspect/eWFM or other WFM systems
Ability to tell the "story" of demand and capacity outlooks and changes impacting.
Ability to influence peers, 3rd party partners and senior leaders
Strong business insight. The ability to relate planning processes and objectives to broader business issues and vice versa
Be creative and curious, always challenging the way we do things with a view to simplifying and improving every day
A natural collaborator who as well as being able to drive idea generation can put these ideas into the business and teams we serve
Excellent communication and engagement skills
