 About the team:
 The Core Technology (CT) team is responsible for the end-to-end eBay technology platform. This platform runs our entire infrastructure and all the services that come together to form eBay.com.
 The Telemetry & Monitoring platform team, within CT, builds the Observability platforms that are used to monitor all of eBay's infrastructure and ensure availability of our site for our customers.
 Our platforms are built on the Kubernetes ecosystem and utilize the latest open-source technologies.
 We encourage contributions to open source projects and have been doing so with multiple projects like Elastic Beats and Prometheus.
 We are a fun and results-oriented team of engineers passionate about building highly scalable, reliable, available and high performance monitoring platforms at eBay.
 We are looking for a forward-thinking engineer who are passionate about challenging the boundaries and building innovative solutions.
 
 You Will:
 
 Work with other members of the Observability platform team to implement new features and capabilities.
 
 Work with Product Management to develop innovative solutions that meet eBay's needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability.
 
 Get the opportunity to solve complex technical challenges.
 
 Work in an agile environment with a focus on problem solving and engineering perfection
 
 Communicate your design, methods, and results to a community of developers, analysts, and product managers
 
 Establish yourself as the go-to Developer for a major service portfolio.
 
 
 Minimum Qualifications:
 
 Minimum 2+ years of software support experience, solid foundation in computer science with strong communication skills.
 
 In depth experience with Golang and preferably Python programming.
 
 Bachelor’s degree (in Computer Science or Other Related 4yr Technical Degree) + 2 years of experience.
 
 Hands on experience in Cloud technologies such as Kubernetes, AWS or GCP
 
 Experience with open source projects such as Prometheus, Clickhouse, Grafana, Elastic Search, OpenTelemetry 
 
 Familiar with complex time series concepts.
 
 Familiar with highly available back-end systems and services
