RF Engineer

Experienced software/hardware electrical engineer with advanced skills in digital signal processing related to radio communications. Concepts include time/frequency transforms, modulation and demodulation techniques, filtering, down sampling, and etc. Extract and process information embedded within a signal to analyze and evaluate both real and synthesized signals. Ensure that technical and operational requirements are achievable and being satisfied with the proposed technologies
 
Familiarity with Python or MATLAB or similar analysis tools is a requirement. 


 Familiarity with embedded hardware systems such as RISC processors such as IBM ARM, TI TMS470 or Xilinx or Altera System-on-Chip (SOCs). Should have experience with standard busses (UART, I2C, SPI, PCIe). Experience interfacing to external hardware is required using above busses and installing/developing drivers in an embedded Linux environment. Familiarity with basic FPGA concepts such as timing, basic digital design and common FPGA interfaces is a plus. Familiarity software defined radios a big plus.
