Position Title: DoD SkillBridge IT/Cyber Boot Camp Internship **Application Requirements**: Must be active-duty military with eligibility for DoD SkillBridge Internship. Must be able/willing to study for Security+ certification while in Internship (if not already certified) and interested in acquiring a host of technical training through extensive training portal. Location: Remote (Internship is remote, but you must be targeting a post-service location where the host company has viable work opportunities to be selected for this internship.) If the internship leads to a job offer the position will not be remote, and there MUST be a viable opportunity for a match at the end.) You will receive free certification training, and will utilize GI Bill, or other entitlements that you may qualify for, for exam fees. Seeking people with a serious interest in the IT/Cyber field with baseline technical experience or keen interest in entering (entry level) the field to participate in a DoD SkillBridge Internship facilitated by Vets2PM. Your skills training internship starts with extensive technical training from training portal, certification training via access to the following pathways in Percipio and can be enhanced using Vet Tec funding, if you desire live virtual training (the Vet Tec option is not part of SkillBridge, but we will help you get started and will provide you with the time to work on this option while in your internship). Minimum Preferred Qualifications: Technical expertise / serious interest in IT/Cyber, information, and network security and a willingness to start a job at the entry level if you have no baseline technical experience. Well-rounded understanding and command of the fundamentals of network routing, TCP/IP and network security. A serious interest in earning a job offer from the host company, which will not be remote.
