Essential Duties and Responsibilities of Senior Instructor: Design, develop, implement, deliver and evaluate training programs. Ensure personnel are trained in a safe and effective manner in accordance with business needs, site procedures, industry standards, and any applicable apprenticeship program standards. Provides leadership direction and guidance to lower-level instructors. Develops and implements training initiatives in support of business goals. Conducts training classes and develops materials to support new and incumbent employees in a variety of safety and/or technical and leadership skills. Develops and conducts training courses relative to the electric utility industry including industry events, lessons learned and human performance improvement initiatives. Provides leadership direction and guidance to lower level Instructors. Analyze, design, develop and implement technical training programs in accordance with appropriate regulations and standards. Meet regulatory standards in the design of apprenticeship programs, if applicable. May assist Leader with Apprentice rotation entrance/exit interviews and field visits to ensure training effectiveness. Prepare training course development and presentation schedules integrating internal customer needs and training resources. Must have a valid driver's license In this SkillBridge Internship you will learn to: Facilitate training program administration Develop and implement initiatives in support of departmental and Business Unit goals. Evaluate and analyze training materials and training effectiveness including action plans to correct any deficiencies. Support activities of other departmental teams and external customers to ensure overall team success. Maximize training resources utilization through technology, integration, and resource sharing. Conduct evaluations and remediation of student performance. Reviews and develops materials for technical accuracy and adherence to federal and company standards. Supervise training participants, in accordance with company policies.
