Level 4 - Project Engineer Location: Deerfield, CO Job Description As a Project Engineer responsible for scheduling, your role in support of multiple Agile/Kanban Teams within a DevSecOps organization will include but not be limited to the following activities across multiple projects: Work directly with the PM and DPM. Also, assist the Program Leadership Team (PLT) with schedule planning, coordinating tasks, and monitoring the timelines of scheduled assignments. Identify potential scheduling delays and facilitate remedial action. Key responsibilities include: preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned engineering (software and hardware) projects. Formulate project parameters and help assign responsibilities to the most capable employees and monitor the project team with the PLT and Product Owners (PO's). Daily interaction with the PLT as well as monthly customer meeting (BMR) support required. As a MS Project subject matter expert, successful candidate must be able to easily plan projects with the power of dynamic scheduling based on effort needed, project duration, and allotted team members. Work the Agile/Kanban Teams on VersionOne loading and tracking. Use VersionOne to create/manage projects to allow solid Increment/Iteration planning. As a scheduler, be involved as the team selects the amount of work they can deliver from the prioritized backlog. Working with the Release Train Engineer (RTE), keep track and utilize historical velocity as a guide reference as new work is committed to. Basic Qualifications Strong MS Project skills Experience working with Agile software development methods within DevSecOps program environment Well versed with VersionOne Prior scheduling and planning responsibilities in support of cost estimating / proposal generation Current, Active TS/SCI Desired Skills EVMS and CAM certification Collaborative with strong communication skills (PM/DPM, PLT, RTE, PO's); good analytical skills JIRA/Git knowledge base GEOINT community background - familiarity with the domain, workflow process and products
