Job Description: Senior Project Scheduler Pay Range $100 € $135/hr JVC has multiple openings for P6 Project Scheduler. Active DOE Q Clearance (or DoD Top Secret) desired. Must be able to work on €site in Albuquerque, NM or Livermore, CA up to 25% of the time. This is a six month € to one €year long assignment, with options to extend. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain integrated project schedules for construction and capital projects < $100M Identify handoffs, milestones and dependencies using critical path method scheduling in Primavera P6 Perform schedule €based activities, including schedule development, rolling wave planning, and schedule status. Coordinate with Control Account Manager or Work Package Manager to define activities and associated scope, activity durations, logic, and interface between activities and resource loading activities. Assist in the development of project controls work processes, tools, and procedures included in the project controls system. Ensure integrity of technical schedules and compliance with processes and procedures. Monitor schedule performance data, develop data analysis, and issue schedule reports required by management and project procedures. Develop schedule variance analysis. Maintain, review, and act as a liaison with Project Managers of schedule and monthly spend plan projected vs. actual data. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in relevant functional discipline or equivalent combination of education and related experience. Experience in Acumen Fuse or equivalent schedule health tools Experienced scheduler (5 €10 years) with high level of proficiency using P6 software tool Basic understanding of general project controls technical skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills necessary to communicate, contribute, and be a part of a multi €disciplinary team. Experience performing statistical analysis and computer operations and using Microsoft Excel formulas/functions, PowerPoint, and Word. Knowledge of and experience with a project controls system, earned value management systems for planning, organizing, performing, reviewing, and presenting cost data. Desired Qualifications: Program Management Professional certification/license. Extensive knowledge and usage of MS Excel advanced functions such as pivot tables, worksheet, and data manipulations and graphing. Professional Attributes: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to handle a dynamic environment. Proven ability to work efficiently in a challenging atmosphere. Should possess an inherent skill to handle various intricacies of project management.
