Job Description: Project Manager 2 Company: J Vollbrecht Consulting Location: Remote w/ onsite (TX & VA) Salary Range $80K-$100K Hybrid Remote Position- 100% remote during design and 100% onsite during construction (current site locations in Texas and Virginia, travel is reimbursed at government per diem rate) Key Responsibilities: Effective planning and execution of technical and construction projects, ensuring on time and on budget delivery, as per the goals and objectives of the client organization. Ensure optimum utilization of time, budget and other resources. Coordinating with relevant stakeholders and defining the scope and objectives of a project. Delegation of tasks and responsibilities to team members and ensure proper time management. Monitor actual expenditure against the estimated budget. Monitor project performance and ensure timely milestone completion. Excellent communication with clients, stakeholders and team members. Perform Risk Analysis and take necessary proactive risk management measures, and corrective action plans. Prepare and maintain Project Execution Plan, Schedule, and Budget documentation. Prepare and deliver project reports on a recurring calendar, as required by client organization. Perform other duties as assigned. Technical Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or any related field, or equivalent combination of education and related experience. Fundamental knowledge of project management, specifically during design and construction phases. Proficient in the use of project management tools of MS. Project and/ or Primavera P6. Experience using software for word processing, spreadsheets and presentations such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Project Management Institute (PMI) Certification or Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) Certification. Desired Qualifications: Proven experience in Project management for a minimum period of 3 years. Strategic thinking and analyzing situations. Critical thinking and problem solving abilities. Ability to implement cross functional process improvements. Professional Attributes: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proven ability to work efficiently in a challenging atmosphere. Excellent communication skills Strong leadership abilities and interpersonal skills.
