Artemis Talent have been tasked with finding an experienced and capable Connectivity Developer with Java Development and FIX Protocol experience within the Financial Services space to help build, maintain and connect a complex enterprise Electronic Trading Platform with both the buy and sell side so that Asset Managers and Hedge Funds can be linked to Exchanges and Banks in lightning speed.

We would love you to have the list of tech below, however if you are an excellent Java Developer with experience in Financial Services that is the key to unlocking this opportunity.

Key Skills (in preference order):

• Core Java
• FIX Protocol / SWIFT / SBE
• Object Orientated design experience
• RESTful APIs
• Financial Services Technology / FinTech
• SQL – Integration, Joins, Stored Procs, Select, Insert etc
• Google Web Toolkit (GWT)
• Multithreading
• Ideally with a Degree from a top tier Uni; Computer Science, Engineering etc

If you are a passionate Connectivity Developer (JAVA) feeling stifled by the inability to see your code live within a matter of days/weeks then this role is ideal for you. You will have autonomy to help shape architecture and design of the Trading Platform and have the drive to succeed writing exciting code.
