Electromechanical Technician - Seeking Military Veteran

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
 
Based on work orders from a supervisor, diagnoses problems and develops solutions, and repairs machinery to manufacturer’s standards.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of all plant equipment and systems.
  • Responsible for the installation of all equipment and systems
  • Identifies electrical hazards and rectifies such hazards.
  • Tests and calibrates electrical components.
  • Performs all duties to National Electrical Code Standards.
  • Specifies time and materials list for electromechanical projects and requests necessary supplies.
  • Assists in mechanical repairs and fabrication.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
 
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • Good knowledge of control circuits with the ability to read schematics.
  • Experience in programming drives and troubleshooting PLC’S.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Experience to wire and install motor, drive, PLC and control systems.
  • Good working knowledge of conduit bending and threading.
  • Ability to read blueprint schematics and wiring schedules.
  • Good oral communication skills

  • Proven track record of ability to handle multiple priorities, result driven, self-motivated.

EDUCATION
Technical School Graduate, Apprenticeship, or 5 years of previous work experience in Industrial Electricity
 
 
Organizational Relationship:
Reports to Shift Supervisor
