#655 - Multi Craft Field Service Technician - Seeking Military Veteran

We have an excellent opportunity for a Full-Time Field Service Technician 

 

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: 
  • $25-$40/hr

  • OVERTIME AUTHORIZED 

  • All expenses paid for travel

  • Company vehicle provided

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide quality installations, repair, preventive maintenance, and inspections for industrial systems

  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components and circuits

  • Install layout and fitting of structural steel components, plate, tube, angle welding, grinding, and rigging

  • Understand the termination of electrical controls and the ability to bring systems online

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, circuit diagrams, and schematic drawings

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment 
  • Work with 480-volt 3-phase electricity, electrical meters, and fuse changes

  • Assemble and test motor-control devices, switch panels, transformers, generator windings, solenoids, and other electrical equipment and components according to engineering data
  • Effectively interface with customers and the office in repairing equipment 

  • Evaluate and make recommendations regarding required repairs

 
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Minimum five years of work experience with similar types of equipment

  • Proven Mechanical and electrical skills

  • Proven experience in electrical troubleshooting

  • Attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Availability to work overtime and travel

 
HOW YOU'LL STAND OUT:
  • Have a strong knowledge of motor controls

  • Ability to install, program, maintain, document, and troubleshoot programmable logic controls and components

  • Strong Rigging Skills and preparation of Rigging plans

  • Understanding of Mobile Crane load charts

  • Machining and welding skills
