Software Developer Level II - Up to $85,000 - Seeking Military Veteran

The Software Developer Level II at will support the development and integration of client enterprise architecture. Architecture analysis and product support will be developed using the Company's ETL technology (Blue Fusion) across multiple projects for clients in different industries dealing with various types of challenging data. 

  • Work in an Agile Scrum environment, focusing on sustainable development of high performance scalable, and maintainable enterprise solutions.
  • Development of ETL processes using Python, Java, .NET/C#, or similar OOP languages.
  • Developing and implementing highly responsive UI components using HTML, CSS, Javascript/JQuery and other tech stack.
  • Architecture planning using advanced knowledge of SQL Server, SSIS Catalog, SSIS, T-SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, DB2 and data modeling.
  • Aligning architectures to the customer’s strategic goals/objectives (roadmaps, mission capabilities).
  • Performing architectural analysis and design using both structured and object-oriented techniques.
  • Creating new architecture designs and integrating new architectural features into existing infrastructures while maintaining the integrity and security of enterprise-wide analysis systems and networks.
  • Interact with APIs in order to build solutions for data processing.
  • Identifying system-of-system architectural needs by drilling through all layers of embedded security within the given WAN / LAN architecture.
  • Applying external interface requirements to architectural products; documenting external operational and system data exchanges.
  • Evaluating architecture impacts in response to customer needs.
  • Developing architectural studies, presentations, white papers, and other analyses as required.
  • Communicating architecture baselines and demonstrating value to customers not versed in architecture principles; supporting review boards by evaluating artifacts for architectural compliance.
  • Providing engineering recommendations based on ETL technologies.
  • Compiling industry best practices and lessons learned into future iterations and new designs.
  • The successful candidate must have experience with architecture modeling, supporting methodologies, and notation set background across both structured and object-oriented techniques. This individual should have a strong understanding of software development to include having practical experience in building various product views utilizing ETL tools.
  • Additionally, the candidate should have broad based experience in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and be able to apply this experience to specific analytical initiatives.

  • The candidate must be capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of Python, Java, .NET/C#, or similar OOP languages.
  • Knowledge of system engineering processes, particularly architecture analysis and evaluation of alternatives.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or similar technical discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience (3 - 5 years) performing architectural definition and analysis, software development and testing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Software Development certification by recognized Government or academic institution.
  • Advanced degree.
  • Working knowledge of i2 Solutions.
  • Demonstrated operational experience with intelligence systems.
  • Demonstrated experience developing with advanced systems engineering concepts and/or tools.

  • Prolonged periods in a stationary position at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity equipment.
  • Repeat the same movements.
  • Travel Requirements: Some travel may be required. This position is remote.
