What it’s like to be the technical writer
As a technical writer at Searchspring, you'll be responsible for setting and enforcing the standards of technical documentation for audiences with varying backgrounds to follow - including the documentation’s look and feel, writing style, who owns it & makes sure it's great, and who makes sure the documentation from many teams and backgrounds is cohesive.
You will create technical content that shows developers how to use Searchspring and how to get the most out of their Searchspring implementations
You will get involved in writing blogs, white papers, and working with our education and marketing teams to generate public content.
Why you might like it
Our documentation is online. You will take leadership and ownership of the documentation. You will be creating high-quality documentation & tutorials for Searchspring's API and software libraries used by a wide variety of audience.
Documentation will be assisting merchants that use our APIs to integrate Searchspring's functionality onto their store, providing data feed format requirements (in general and for specific feature eligibility), API documentation, caveats of using certain custom features, and more.
Our engineering teams will benefit from having documentation about internal endpoints about other teams' code, such as internal endpoints that connect modules.
