Senior Information Assurance Engineer – San Antonio, TX/ Columbia, MD

Provides comprehensive technical support and/or leadership for elements such as: complex processes, applications, systems, networks and telecommunications. Performs and/or leads project planning, scope, control, management, tracking and review activities. Develops and prepares technical documents. Develops certification and accreditation packages using eMASS and Xacta tools. Performs security testing on weapons systems. Ensures compliance with, and/or develops the standards and organization requirements relative to security. Support includes, but is not limited to: Research, studies, requirement/specification definition, analysis, assessment, planning, acquisition, design, development, integration, overseeing, testing, installation, performance tuning, operation, deployment and maintenance.

6 Years of experience as a Network Security Engineer and/or an Information Assurance Manager. Extensive experience in the development, integration, and implementation of enterprise-wide network or information assurance technologies. Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF). Technical experience in system and network administration, analysis, and database administration and/or programming.

Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, Physics, or other Engineering-related discipline.
With Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies, or a related field, 8 years of experience in technical field is required.
With no degree, 10 years of experience in engineering or other technical field is required.
A Top Secret clearance is required.
A CISSP Certification is desired.
