Senior Software Developer – San Antonio, TX/Columbia, MD
MINIMUM/GENERAL EXPERIENCE:Ten years of experience in C/C++ and/or Java Enterprise software development. Candidate must possess expert knowledge in the network security field and be capable of working in a fast-paced, large-team environment.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY:Design, build, enhance and maintain the latest intrusion detection/prevention and computer network defense technologies. Develop low-level software for intrusion prevention and computer network defense systems. Enhance existing software by deriving algorithms, adding new capabilities, increasing performance and improving usability. Create APIs for third-party applications to communicate with existing software. Translate customer requirements into software design documents.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Requires a SECRET clearance and the ability to obtain a TS clearance.
