Where in the world of Kaluza will I be working?
You will be working on the Orion platform in Kaluza. Orion is a single instance multi-tenant SaaS technology platform that aims to revolutionise the operating platforms for energy retailers globally. This platform is the foundation for decarbonisation efforts by Kaluza’s customers. This platform has been built with scale and technical quality in mind, as the first real-time energy system created using functional programming and event sourcing. We are looking to transform to a multi-tenant, international ready model to help the business take on new challenges and external customers.
What will I be doing?
Building strong teams is a vitally important aspect of the role, so you’ll be heavily involved in recruitment, onboarding and personal development of engineers. You’ll work closely with the teams’ Product Managers and Agile Coaches to make sure they are balancing quality and flow with delivery of great products to our customers.
We have a very strong engineering culture that’s all about empowerment and ownership: all to solve one of the world’s greatest problems.
Is this the job for me?
It could be if:
They want the best people
At Kaluza, they empower their people to have choices around where and when they work - flexible working arrangements can be discussed for all of their roles.
They are keen to meet people with varied backgrounds - their view is the more inclusive they are, the better their work will be. They want to build teams which represent a variety of experiences, perspectives and skills, and they recognise talent on the basis of merit and potential.
They understand some people may not apply for jobs unless they tick every box. If you're excited about joining them and think you have much of what they are looking for, even if you're not 100% sure… make sure to apply!
