MotorK is hiring a QA Lead to join their team

MotorK is a leading sales and marketing technology company in Europe specialised in the automotive sector. The company was founded in 2010 in Italy by three serial entrepreneurs who are still managing the company today. To date, the Company has subsidiaries in the UK, France, Spain and Germany.

This is a newly created role at MotorK reporting to the CTO. We are looking for a strong and experienced QA leader to be the quality champion for MotorK and to evangelise a quality first mindset across all our Product & Technology teams. This role will help define and execute the Quality Assurance strategy for the business and as such will have responsibility for people management, structure and processes as well as the technical direction for QA.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Line manage and lead the QA team
    • Manage workload and allocation for team members.
    • Establish departmental and individual OKRs.
  • Define and integrate QA standards and processes into the SDLC, including but not limited to:
    • Defect management.
    • Test plans and strategies.
    • Reporting and KPIs.
    • Test case management.
  • Define and execute the automation strategy.
  • Collaborate with the product team to ensure that QA is a fundamental part of the requirements engineering process.

 

Requirements:

Essential

  • ISTQB/ISEB foundation certificate or higher.
  • At least 5 years’ experience as a QA Engineer/QA Lead/Team lead.
  • Experience in implementing a quality mindset across multiple teams.
  • Experience introducing and upholding testing standards and processes.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of recent testing paradigms (BDD).
  • Have a great understanding of test automation software e.g. Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Cucumber (Gherkin, Calabash), Ranorex, or similar.
  • Knowledge of bug tracking and project management tools such as Bugzilla, Jira.
  • Knowledge of test case management software such as TestRail, Zephyr, qTest etc.

 

Desirable

  • Bachelor in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • Experience of building automation frameworks from scratch/first principles in an organisation.
  • Have experience working with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins. TeamCity, CircleCI, etc.
  • Experience working for a product centric organisation.
