About The Role:

As a Public Policy Analyst at CoinSwitch, you will assist the policy team with research and analysis tailored to the needs of stakeholders relevant to the cryptocurrency policies. The analyst will focus on the collection, analysis and manipulation of a broad range of data and assist in development of meaningful recommendations for the business functions, policy team and partners to act on. 

Work Location: 

New Delhi. Work environment is collaborative in a small workstation and may require travel.

What You Will Do:

  • Write research and data analysis summary briefs and other substantive communications materials that explain and advocate for Cryptocurrency Regulation in India. 
  • Maintain relentless commitment to creating and enabling policy practices that prioritize the role of cryptocurrency in India and its overall legislative and regulatory landscape.  
  • Research and report on a wide array of policy issues related to cryptocurrency in India and globally. 
  • Write blog posts and longer-form policy analysis, both as a lead investigator and as a supporting coauthor. 
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis using publicly available datasets, as well as manage the process of new data collection in support policy research. 
  • Manage and work on multiple projects, work within tight deadlines, and prioritize work as necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You Should Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Graduate degree in a field related to public policy, economics, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  •  Ability to translate analyses into written products for both narrow and broad audiences
  •  Demonstrated interest in policy issues related to technology, blockchain etc. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Excellent work ethic matched by openness to feedback and collaboration 
  • Inclined to think independently and challenge conventional wisdom in crypto-currency  policy 
  • Experience using statistical software such as R, Stata, Tableau, Excel, etc will be preferred.
